Mr. Anupam Dasgupta has taken over as the Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Small Scale Industries & Agro Rural Industries w.e.f. 1st of November, 2004. Mr. Anupam Dasgupta belongs to the Maharashtra Cadre of the Indian Administrative Service and has an illustrious career of more than 34 years in the premier service. Mr. Anupam Dasgupta has earlier worked in the Government of India as Secretary, Official Languages Department, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development besides other assignments. The SIDO family extends a warm welcome to Mr. Anupam Dasgupta.
